About me

Hello, I'm Nina. I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist with 25 years of experience working across the NHS, private practice and community mental health services. Alongside my private practice, I lead an NHS psychological therapies service in London.

I recently left my hometown London and now work on the Suffolk Norfolk border. I'm in easy reach of Norwich. I work Online across the UK.

You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma or PTSD, stress, burnout, loneliness, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and loss. All of these experiences can be incredibly difficult to navigate. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck or finding it difficult to cope in the way you once did.

I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where we can make sense of what is happening together. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you as an individual. My aim is not only to reduce the overwhelm but to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create meaningful, lasting change.

Alongside talking therapy, I also integrate body-based and nervous system approaches (called Somatics) where they are helpful. Our thoughts, emotions and physical responses are closely connected, and paying attention to how your body experiences stress, trauma and safety can open up new possibilities for change. I draw on these approaches at a pace that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London (UCL). I draw on a range of evidence-based psychological approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), systemic approaches and body-informed approaches. I tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
