About me
There are times in life when difficulties can begin to feel overwhelming — when you may feel stuck, uncertain, or in crisis. In such moments, having a safe, confidential space where you can speak freely and feel genuinely heard can make a meaningful difference.
As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I recognise that there is no single map for living. Each of us finds our way through life shaped by our histories, cultures, identities, relationships, and inner worlds. At times the path ahead may feel unclear or unfamiliar, yet within this uncertainty there is also the possibility for understanding, growth, and change.
In our work together, we will take time to explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you — what they reveal, what may have been held back, and how they continue to influence the way you relate to yourself and others. This process can bring relief, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself.
My psychotherapeutic practice is grounded in care, curiosity, and respect for the full spectrum of human experience. I warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, sexualities, bodies, and identities. I work from an affirming, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed perspective, and I am committed to creating a space where you can feel safe and respected.
Therapy can be a time to reconnect with yourself — to explore emotions, relationships, desires, and questions of meaning or belonging. For some, it may also be a space to reflect on spirituality or deeper existential concerns, should that feel important to you.
If what you have read resonates, you are very welcome to get in touch. You can call, text, or email me to arrange an initial assessment.
The initial assessment lasts around one hour and can be arranged at a time that suits you. It offers an opportunity for you to share what is bringing you to therapy, for us to think together about what you may need, and for you to ask any questions about how therapy might support you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Psychological Society
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
