About me
My Approach
Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially as it involves sharing personal information with someone new. I focus on creating a space that’s warm, inclusive, and free of judgment—somewhere you can feel comfortable, respected, and safe. Your wellbeing is my priority and I’m here to support you throughout the process.
How I Work
My therapeutic approach is integrative which means I incorporate a number of modalities depending on your needs. I believe that a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool for personal insight and growth. In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s going on for you and work together to find the techniques and approaches that align with your goals and needs.
I have over 10 years experience supporting people with their mental wellbeing in the private, public and charitable sectors. My areas of interest are -
- Trauma and childhood abuse
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression and low mood (including postnatal depression)
- Fertility issues and IVF
- Grief and loss
Training, qualifications & experience
- DipHE Integrative Counselling (Middlesex University)
- Certificate in Complex Trauma & Childhood Abuse (NCS Accredited)
- MBACP
- Member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association)
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Getting Started
If you’re thinking about starting therapy and would like to chat about your needs, feel free to get in touch by phone or email.
From there, we can arrange an initial meeting to see whether working together feels like the right fit for us both. This first session is a chance for you to ask any questions, tell me more about what has brought you to counselling and learn more about how I work.
I offer both online and face-to-face sessions, and can provide either short-term or longer-term support.
