About me
The decision to begin counselling can be a difficult one. For some of you, searching this website may be a big step and for others you may have had counselling previously and know the importance of finding the right counsellor. I am here to answer any questions or concerns you may have. From my own personal experience of counselling, I understand how valuable counselling/psychotherapy can be.
If you are looking for friendly professional support to help you through difficult times, I am here to help. I offer counselling from my practices in Hockley, Essex. I can help you with depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, relationship issues, self-esteem, bereavement, PTSD, trauma, OCD, loss, infertility amongst others. It may be that you're not really sure what the problem is, but you know that you are not feeling fulfilled.
Many people find talking to someone that is disconnected from other parts of their life useful, as we talk about things with a different perspective and gain insights that we would not otherwise have gained from taking to a friend. I am an integratively trained therapist, which means that I select the most useful parts of a range of approaches that best suit your needs. Counselling can provide you with a safe, confidential space to explore your issues to provide insight, support and change.

Fees
I offer an optional free 20 minute phone consulation.
The initial session for all clients is a consultation session where we explore in more detail what brings you to therapy, what you would like to gain from therapy and how we might work together. It's a chance to see if you feel comfortable talking to me and for me to check that I am a suitable professional to be supporting you at this time. After the session there is no obligation to continue if you do not want to. The session is 60 minutes long and £45.
Usual sessions are £45 per 50 minute session.
