About me
Welcome!
If you're feeling stuck in cycles of overwhelming anxiety, I am here to help.
When you feel trapped in anxious thoughts it can be difficult to know how to find a way out of the cycle.
You may be experiencing racing thoughts, sleepless nights, panic attacks, health anxiety, intrusive thoughts or OCD.
I have 10+ years as a qualified psychotherapist to guide you to more inner calm, confidence and self-compassion.
I specialise in anxiety related issues such as perfectionism, health anxiety, people-pleasing, OCD and panic attacks. I am also experienced in other areas such as low-confidence, bereavement, depression, spiritual questioning and relationship issues.
As an accredited psychotherapist, I help you to break the patterns that keep you feeling this way, gaining a deeper understanding of why you feel like this, help you gain more fulfilment, self acceptance and calmness in your life.
I am passionate about empowering people to fully embrace their whole selves to live more authentically and compassionately. I will listen to your story, ask you questions to help explore and understand yourself and guide you to the answers within.
The way that I work is to integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to best suit your needs, including Internal Family Systems, Person-Centred, Cognitive-Behavioural-Therapy and Mindfulness based therapies. I am also an accredited Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner. I appreciate that every one is different, so I tailor my approach to you and adapt to your needs.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I understand that committing to therapy takes courage and is a big step. I offer a free no obligation 20 minute phone consultation so you can ask me any questions that you have, find out more about me and explore you would like to go forward.
The next step is to book a consultation session, where we explore in more detail what brings you to therapy, what you would like to gain from therapy and how we might work together. It's a chance to see if you feel comfortable talking to me and for me to check that I am a suitable professional to be supporting you at this time. After the session there is no obligation to continue if you do not want to. The session is 60 minutes long and £85.
Usual sessions are £80 per 50 minute session.
75 minute sessions are available at £120.
I am currently working in person and online via Google Meet.
