About me

Hello, I'm Nicola, an experienced person-centred counsellor working with clients face to face in central Glasgow and online nationwide. I help people explore and resolve enduring problems, cope with crisis and find greater self-acceptance and peace.

What I offer

A safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore problems and feelings that you might find hard to discuss with family and friends. I work in an empathic and accepting way to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and make positive changes in your life.

I offer both short and long-term counselling. Some people find just one session is enough whereas others appreciate more time to explore their issues at their own pace.

I have particular experience of working with people suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem and perfectionism.

Where do I work?

I see clients in a warm and welcoming room in Glasgow close to Central Station. I also work online and by phone.

My approach

Perhaps you have been feeling 'stuck' lately, or for years. Exploring in a compassionate and supportive way what has been keeping you stuck and why, can lead to release and renewal in your life. When we feel truly heard, understood and accepted just as we are by another it allows us to connect with ourselves in the same way and can lead to an authentic change in our lives.

What next?

If you would like to have a free chat about arranging an initial session, please call me on 07702 819640, email me here or use the contact form on my website. Sessions last 60 minutes and my fee is £50, paid by bank transfer. You may have as many or as few sessions as you like, although it can be helpful to have two or three in the first instance to get a good idea of whether working with me is for you. The therapeutic relationship is key in counselling. If you don't feel there is a 'fit' with your counsellor, it's probable that someone else would suit you better.
