About me
Reconnect with calm and clarity to relieve your chronic anxiety.
Welcome, I’m Nicola. Since 2014 I have helped hundreds of adult clients relieve and let go of anxiety and improve their self esteem and confidence through deep Self connection.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore problems and feelings that you might find hard to discuss with family and friends. I work in an empathic, kind and accepting way to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and make positive changes in your life.
What I offer
I offer both short and long-term counselling. Some people find just a few sessions are enough whereas others appreciate more time to explore their issues at their own pace.
I have particular experience of working with people suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem and perfectionism. I am an Internal Family Systems-trained therapist whose mission is to help clients understand and work with their 'parts', and connect them with the natural healing qualities of Self energy so that parts in extreme roles can be relieved of the painful burdens they carry.
Where do I work?
I currently work with clients online via Teams or WhatsApp.
My approach
Perhaps you have been feeling 'stuck' lately, or for years, feeling chronically anxious without really knowing why. Exploring in a compassionate and supportive way what has been keeping you stuck can lead to release and renewal in your life. When all parts of us feel truly heard, understood and accepted just as they are by another it allows us to connect with our system in the same way and can lead to an authentic change in our lives.
What next?
If you would like to have a free consultation about arranging an initial session, please email me here or use the contact form on my website. Sessions last 60 minutes and my fee is £60, paid by bank transfer. You may have as many or as few sessions as you like, although it can be helpful to have two or three in the first instance to get a good idea of whether working with me is for you. The therapeutic relationship is key in counselling. If you don't feel there is a 'fit' with your counsellor, it's probable that someone else would suit you better.
