About me
Feeling overwhelmed, wired, or like your mind just won’t switch off?
Maybe you’re exhausted from overthinking, people-pleasing, or constantly feeling 'too much' or 'not enough.' Maybe you are wondering how childhood experiences are impacting you today.
You don’t have to keep carrying that alone.
I offer a space where we gently slow things down and begin to understand what’s really driving your anxiety or current issue, not just how to manage it, but how to shift it at its roots.
My approach combines Transactional Analysis and somatic exploration, which means we work both with your thoughts, your feelings and your body, or which ever you are most comfortable with. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, beliefs, and nervous system responses that may have developed over time (often as ways to cope) and begin to create something new that feels more grounded, authentic, and sustainable.
I am also a clinical supervisor in training for other counsellors and psychotherapists and I offer rebirthing breathwork (conscious connected) as part of my practice if this is something you would like to explore.
I have a particular interest in working with:
Anxiety (including chronic worry, panic, and burnout)
ADHD (including overwhelm, emotional intensity, and self-criticism)
Feeling stuck in repeating patterns or relationships
Low self-worth and inner criticism
LGBTQ+ Community and other minority groups
Whether you’re a teenager trying to make sense of big feelings, or an adult who’s been holding it together for a long time, therapy can be a place to finally exhale before we take the journey of lasting change together.
What it’s like to work with me
I aim to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can be fully yourself. We’ll go at your pace to create meaningful change. This is important because while you want change, the part of you that has always done things a certain way may need more safety and convincing to get on board with what you want.
Practical details
I work with adults of all ages and young people aged 13+
Sessions available at a reduced concession rate of £40
Online or in-person in Northgate, Crawley
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. If something here resonates, you’re very welcome to reach out.
How Long will it take?
If you need help to cope better with a temporary blip this may be short term work. If we are working with repeating patterns or issues rooted in childhood this can take longer. I generally say lets do six sessions then have a look at where we are, we can make a new plan together from there.
Starting Your Journey...
I offer a 15 minute call or zoom so we can have an initial chat, just to put your mind at ease and answer any questions you may have and from there we can get you booked in for your first session.
