About me
I am an integrative counsellor, blending elements of Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
But at the core of my work is this:- I will meet you where you are, without judgement and support you in finding your path.
I believe counselling is not about fixing you, because you are not broken. It is about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Sessions with me are gentle but honest. I will move at your pace, and you are always in control of your sessions. I will also support you in building confidence, self-worth and finding your voice.
I support people who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally exhausted, especially those who are experiencing anxiety, grief, low self-worth or who are questioning who they are. If you have ever quietly questioned your worth, felt unseen or found yourself carrying more than you can say out loud, you are not alone. I will meet you with warmth, compassion and a safe space where you can discuss whatever you need to.
I have experience working long-term with neurodiverse clients, and I have neurodiverse family members, so I understand the struggles that can arise.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see how it feels to work together. I'll offer a gentle overview of what you can expect in our sessions and take a few minutes to run through a simple counselling contract, which includes confidentiality and session format. You are welcome to ask any questions, share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and let the session unfold at your pace. There is no pressure to commit beyond this point - it is your space, and I will support you in making the right decision for you.
