About me
If things feel challenging or unclear at the moment, therapy can offer a grounded space to explore what’s happening and what you might need.
I’m Nicki, an MBACP registered Integrative Therapist offering online counselling across Pembrokeshire and the UK. I provide a calm, steady space where you can slow down and explore what feels difficult or confusing, including the parts of your experience that may feel hard to look at. Therapy can be challenging, and you’ll be met with a safe, secure, and consistent relationship as we work through it together.
How I work
My practice is Humanistic Integrative, grounded in Person‑Centred foundations and informed by Gestalt, Existential, attachment‑based and psychodynamic perspectives. I also offer creative ways of working, including Sandtray work.
This means we pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns in the present moment, while also understanding how early experiences may shape the ways you protect yourself or connect with others today. Together, we explore what’s happening for you right now and how it affects your emotional world, relationships, and sense of self.
Attachment‑based work helps us understand how your nervous system responds to stress, closeness, conflict, or uncertainty. If you’ve ever felt anxious, shut down, or triggered without knowing why, this approach can help you recognise these responses and develop steadier ways to feel safe and connected.
This integrative way of working can be helpful for anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, low self‑esteem, or anyone seeking greater clarity and emotional balance.
Each session moves at a pace that feels right for you. You’ll be met with compassion, respect, and a grounded therapeutic relationship as we work toward understanding, stability, and change.
Why Thallo Therapy
My practice is called Thallo Therapy. Thallo refers to the earliest sign of spring, the first indication that growth is possible.
In attachment work, early relational experiences shape how we learn to connect, protect ourselves, and navigate closeness. When those beginnings were inconsistent or painful, change can feel slow or uncertain.
Therapy offers a different kind of beginning: a reliable, attuned relationship where new patterns can form. Thallo reflects this steady, supported growth with small shifts that become something more grounded and sustainable over time.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
