About me

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

I believe lasting change begins with feeling genuinely heard, understood and accepted. My role is not to judge or tell you what to do, but to work alongside you with warmth, curiosity and compassion, helping you make sense of your experiences and discover your own way forward.

Over the years I have supported hundreds of people through significant life challenges and personal change. This has given me a deep understanding of how our thoughts, emotions and behaviours become connected, and how, with the right support, lasting change is possible.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit one particular model. Together we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface, helping you gain greater self-awareness, build resilience and create meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, compulsive behaviours, low self-esteem, life transitions and many of the challenges that can leave us feeling stuck or disconnected.

I offer counselling online via Zoom, allowing you to access support wherever you are in the UK.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.

For many years I have supported hundreds of people to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. My work has involved helping individuals overcome emotional and compulsive behaviours, build self-esteem, manage anxiety and stress, improve relationships, and navigate significant life changes.

My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth when they feel heard, understood and accepted. I tailor therapy to each individual, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore difficulties at your own pace and develop lasting strategies for change.

I have experience working with:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Bereavement
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Emotional eating

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
