You might have a lot going on in life that looks “fine” from the outside. A job. People around you. Things that suggest you’re doing okay. And still, there can be this quiet feeling of carrying everything on your own. Not fully able to put it into words. Not knowing how to explain it, or feeling like no one would really understand. So you keep going, as many people do, while something inside feels heavy, distant, or disconnected. It can be exhausting carrying so much without feeling truly seen or understood.
What I want you to know is that you don’t have to keep managing it all on your own in that way. It can be hard to know where to start, or even what you’re feeling. That’s okay. We can take things slowly and make sense of it together, at a pace that feels right for you.
I don’t see myself as the expert of your life - you are. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on together, in a way that feels meaningful and helpful to you.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am an integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapist and counsellor with 3 years of experience in the mental health field. I draw on approaches including CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Attachment-Based Work, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, adapting my way of working to suit each person rather than using a fixed method.
Alongside my therapy training, I also have a background in sociology, which has shaped how I understand people in context - how identity, culture, and wider social experiences influence the way we see ourselves and what we go through.
I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or finding it hard to make sense of themselves and where they are in life, particularly young professionals trying to keep up with the demands of modern life.
This often includes pressure from work, financial uncertainty, rising living costs, family responsibilities, relationships, and the expectation to keep functioning even when things feel like too much.
I also work with adults navigating neurodivergence, identity, and the experience of holding everything together while quietly feeling overwhelmed underneath.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

What working with me looks like?
When we work together, the first step is getting to know you and your experiences from your perspective, in a way that feels comfortable and safe. I try to be honest and open, and I invite you to be the same - to share what works for you, and what doesn’t. If something feels outside my experience or expertise, I will say so, and if we hit a block in our work, we’ll explore it together.
I work in a structured way, helping you build coping skills first so you have a base to fall back on. Once that foundation is in place, we can begin exploring deeper issues together.
I often think of it like tending a garden. Sometimes parts of our lives need a little more care, attention, and patience before they can grow. Together, we can explore what's helping you thrive, what's getting in the way, and how you can move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Additionally, as a visual and creative person, I may occasionally use diagrams, imagery, or other creative tools to support exploration and reflection where helpful.
