About me
Men do want to talk…. they just need the right opportunity.
The men I work with are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like themselves—and who might not feel comfortable with the typical therapy talk.
You handle a lot. But who’s helping you?
Maybe you're the one people rely on. You keep things together, push through, get on with it. But under the surface, you’re exhausted, disconnected.
I work exclusively with men using a solution-focused approach to help you identify what’s holding you back mentally or emotionally, and to find a way through and out.
This is about figuring out what’s going on and working toward a version of life that feels more you.
I support men through the challenges that often go unspoken—pressure, anger, isolation, self-doubt, and the weight of expectations. You may be struggling in silence, feeling like you have to figure it all out alone.
My approach is straightforward and down-to-earth. I use integrative therapy—meaning we focus on what actually works for you . You won’t be judged, labelled, or expected to “open up” on someone else’s timeline.
Sometimes the expectation of therapy is a lot of silence and awkwardness… a lot of “How does that make you feel?” and only needed by people who have “big” problems, and that your problems are too small to bother anyone with.
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can say what you really think. No pressure. No pretence. Just the time and tools to get your head straight and start making sense of things.
You don’t have to be in crisis to want something to change.
--------------------
Are you functioning, but not really coping?
Are relationships either not happening at all or are proving constantly difficult when you are in them?
Are you feeling down on yourself a lot of the time and struggling to feel ok?
Are you feeling constantly overwhelmed?
Maybe you have tried to get yourself out of the funk through various means but it's only working to a point and you just can't seem to find the right direction to go to get yourself out of it?
I help men who feel this way to find a way through and out of these struggles, no matter how hopeless it may feel.
Seeking a therapist doesn't mean you are failing, it means you may be:
Seeking clarity in areas of your life
Sick and tired of feeling so low
needing to work through overwhelming emotions
Trying to make sense of traumatic experiences
Dealing with the memories of a difficult childhood
Looking for new ways and techniques to cope
You just need somewhere you can talk without judgement
—--------------------------------------------------------
If you think I could be a good fit for you and you'd like to discuss things further, get in touch and we can have a no obligation chat about how we could work together and hopefully take the first steps in helping you to begin to feel better and more in control of your life.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
