About me

I am an experienced, BACP registered and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist providing both short and long-term therapy.

I work with adults, teenagers and children offering a safe, respectful and caring environment to off-load difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

My training not only enables me to work with clients from a holistic perspective, looking at mind, body and social environment, but also to adapt the therapy to individual needs on any presented issue.

Successful therapy is dependent upon a good working relationship between client and therapist. With that in mind, I suggest you call or email and we can set up an assement appointment.

Member organisations

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

I have a special interest in systemic therapy which works from the awareness that behaviours and mindsets can pass through family generations, affecting present day patterns and intimate relationships. I am currently undergoing further training to become a qualified Family Systems Practitioner therapist.
