About me
I am a BABCP-accredited CBT and EMDR therapist based in Ealing (W5), offering therapy for adults both in-person and online across the UK. I work with people who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change, or disconnected from themselves and others. You might be experiencing constant worry, panic, intrusive thoughts, emotional ups and downs, or the lasting impact of difficult past experiences. At times, it can feel exhausting just trying to cope.
Many of my clients are used to holding things together on the outside, while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unlike themselves underneath. This can be especially true for those affected by trauma or going through perimenopause or menopause, where emotions can feel more intense, unpredictable, or difficult to manage.
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to offer a space that is warm, non-judgemental, and collaborative. I see therapy as a shared process where we work together to understand what is going on for you and find a way forward that feels meaningful and sustainable.
What can I help you with
I support adults in Ealing (W5) and online with:
- Anxiety (including generalised anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and OCD)Depression and low mood
- Trauma and PTSD (including complex and relational trauma)
- Low self-esteem and self-criticism
- Relationship difficulties
- Neurodiversity (ADHD/ADD)
- Stress and burnout
- Perimenopause and menopause-related emotional challenges
Special areas of interest: Trauma and Menopause
Trauma is a central focus of my work. I have undertaken specialist training in complex and relational trauma, and I support people in processing difficult past experiences that continue to affect how they feel, think, and relate to others.
I also have a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. This stage of life can bring significant emotional and psychological changes, including increased anxiety, low mood, loss of confidence, and a sense of feeling unlike yourself. I am trained in menopause-informed CBT (EMBERS), allowing me to support both the psychological and hormonal aspects of this transition.
The therapies I offer
My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT) - Parts-based approaches
- Mindfulness-based therapies
This allows us to adapt the work to your individual needs, whether that involves developing practical coping strategies, understanding patterns, or processing deeper emotional experiences.
How therapy can help
Therapy offers a space to slow things down and make sense of what you’re going through. Together, we look at the patterns that keep you stuck, the impact of past experiences, and the way you relate to yourself.
Over time, many people feel less overwhelmed, more grounded, and more able to respond to life rather than just cope with it. Therapy can help you build a stronger, more stable sense of yourself and feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions.
Training, qualifications & experience
My professional journey and experience
My career has included international volunteer work in Zambia and Bangladesh, supporting street children and mothers affected by severe mental health conditions. After moving to the UK, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT (with merit) at Royal Holloway University and have since worked extensively in both primary and secondary care services, including 14 years as a senior CBT therapist at CNWL NHS Trust in central London, where I also provided clinical supervision to CBT practitioners and therapists in training.
I have additional training in Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ADHD/ADD, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Parts Work, and Mindfulness. This integrative approach allows me to tailor in therapy to the individual needs of each client. I also provide clinical supervision to CBT practitioners and therapists in training. I have extensive experience helping adults manage anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma (including complex trauma), grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and menopausal mental health challenges. Further information
My approach is flexible and tailored to each person I work with. I draw on different therapies, including CBT, EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Menopause-Informed CBT, and Mindfulness. I also use aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), which looks at the different “parts” that make up our inner world. Many people find this especially helpful when working through trauma, relationship difficulties, or the everyday challenges of living with neurodiversity, such as ADHD, ADD, or being on the autistic spectrum.
