About me

Hi I'm Narinder

Life can present many challenges, and at times we all need a safe, supportive space to talk and feel truly heard. I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental counselling environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Using my counselling training and life experience, I work alongside you to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, develop coping strategies, and find ways to manage stress and emotional difficulties. I believe that emotional wellbeing is central to living a balanced and meaningful life.

My place is your space, a place to pause, reflect, and focus on yourself without pressure or expectation.

Thank you for taking the first step in looking for a space where you can talk freely. It takes a lot of courage to reach out often we hesitate, we go back and forth, and then one day, we realise we just need some time and space to be heard.

My role as a counsellor is to provide a safe and supportive space to explore life’s challenges. While there are happy moments, there can also be times of loneliness, anxiety, low mood, or feeling stuck. Whatever brings you to counselling, you do not have to face it alone.

In my practice, you will find respect, autonomy, and a compassionate, non-judgemental approach. I understand how complex life can be, including experiences of anxiety, depression, and feeling judged or misunderstood.

I am also able to offer counselling in Punjabi, if you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in that language.

Sessions are available online, face-to-face, or over the telephone — whichever feels most comfortable and convenient for you. Each session will last 50 minutes and the space is confidential.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
