I am a qualified and BACP registered Psychosynthesis Counsellor offering in-person counselling in South West London and online therapy across the UK for adults.

Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. I offer a free 20-minute consultation call so you can ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

  • Counselling in Battersea, Clapham, Kingston & Online
  • I provide a confidential, supportive and trauma-informed space where you can explore whatever feels difficult or overwhelming in your life.

Many of the clients I work with seek support for:

  • Anxiety and overthinking - constant worry, racing thoughts, feeling on edge or unable to switch off
  • Depression and low mood - lack of motivation, heaviness, burnout or emotional numbness
  • Low self-esteem - self-doubt, shame, people-pleasing or a harsh inner critic
  • Relationship difficulties - conflict, attachment issues, boundary challenges or repeating patterns
  • Grief and loss - bereavement, miscarriage, separation or major life changes
  • Life transitions - parenthood, career change, relocation, illness or menopause
  • Identity and purpose - questioning who you are or what direction your life is taking
  • Coping behaviours - reliance on substances, work or relationships to manage difficult feelings
  • Trauma Recovery
  • Whether you are in crisis or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers space to slow down and explore what is happening beneath the surface.
  • Women’s Health & Perinatal Counselling Specialist

Alongside general adult counselling, I have specialised experience in women’s mental health and perinatal therapy. I have worked with women for over 18 years and offer support around:

  • Fertility challenges and conception journeys
  • Unplanned pregnancy
  • Prenatal anxiety and depression
  • Baby loss, including miscarriage and termination
  • Birth trauma
  • Postpartum anxiety and depression
  • Perimenopause and hormonal transitions
  • Sexual trauma and recovery

If you are looking for fertility counselling, birth trauma therapy, or postnatal support in South West London or online, I offer a compassionate and informed space to process these deeply personal experiences.

Neurodivergence & Cultural Sensitivity
I have experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those navigating ADHD or autism-related challenges. I recognise the unique pressures that can arise around masking, overwhelm, identity and burnout.

As a woman of mixed Irish and Egyptian heritage, I also bring cultural sensitivity to my work and welcome clients from diverse cultural, international and mixed ethnic backgrounds.

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed, with core training in Psychosynthesis. Psychosynthesis is a depth-oriented therapy, rooted in psychodynamic therapy that supports self-awareness, emotional healing and personal growth. It views challenges not simply as symptoms to remove, but as meaningful parts of your experience that deserve understanding.

I integrate:

  • Relational counselling
  • Mindfulness-based approaches
  • Body awareness and nervous system regulation
  • Guided imagery
  • Dream exploration
  • Breath-based techniques

With over 20 years of experience practising yoga and mindfulness, I gently bridge traditional talking therapy with body-based awareness where helpful. This can support regulation, grounding and deeper emotional processing.

Our work will always be collaborative and adapted to your needs.

The Therapeutic Relationship
I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful counselling.

I work relationally, which means I pay close attention to how you experience our sessions and the connection between us. Therapy is not about being told what to do. My role is not to fix or direct you, but to offer a steady, attuned presence where you feel safe enough to explore honestly.

Trust, autonomy and pacing are fundamental to how I practise.

Creative & Experiential Work
Where appropriate, I may introduce creative or experiential approaches such as chair work or guided imagery. These methods are always optional and discussed together

What You Can Expect From Counselling
Therapy offers the opportunity to:

  • Understand your unique story
  • Recognise recurring patterns
  • Develop self-awareness
  • Build emotional resilience
  • Strengthen self-trust
  • Make conscious, authentic choices

Counselling is not about becoming someone different. It is about relating to yourself with greater compassion and clarity, so your decisions feel aligned with who you truly are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
