About me
We all share the wish to be happy and fulfilled in life, and we all encounter challenges along the way which can make this difficult at times. I offer a warm, safe, and supportive space in which you can explore what is going on for you.
I am a qualified Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I work in a Person-centred way, integrating Psychodynamic and Buddhist understanding into my approach. Core values such as empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity are at the heart of my practice. I also work in a trauma-informed way, paying particular attention to the body. I find this helps facilitate a deepening of embodied awareness which can support the therapeutic process.
I have been working with clients since 2017 and I am experienced in working with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. I have experience working for the NHS in secondary mental health care facilitating mindfulness courses and supporting the wellbeing of individuals with complex mental health needs.
I now work in private practice in South Bristol. I see clients one-to-one in person and online. I offer a free initial call to see if it feels like we would be a good fit to work together.
I care about equality and inclusion and offer several low-cost places. Please do ask about this if my normal fee is more than you can afford.

Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
