Hello, I'm Mondonna, whether you want a space to be heard, coping strategies, or support in processing your thoughts and feelings, we can explore your situation and work towards your personal goals for therapy.

I believe in an approach that is based around helping you to get the most out of your therapy sessions - valuing and focusing on you to help you gain more self-understanding and acceptance. Building a trusting relationship is so important so that you have the space to sort out confused feelings, feel heard and be treated as a unique individual in order to feel empowered in a positive way.

I provide online face to face sessions for your convenience and flexibility.

My experience and qualifications

I am a professional member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

I specialise in self esteem, increasing confidence and anxiety however my counselling experience is diverse and also includes:

Relationship issues, bereavement, trauma, work stress, personal development and general counselling.

My counselling qualifications are a Degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.


I run a private practice offering online counselling, from my office located in the Midlands. I work with client's on a short and long term basis helping to explore and manage issues, including self esteem, anxiety, work related stress, relationship issues, and confidence.

As well as my private practice, I have significant experience working for the UK’s leading mental health charity MIND and providing workplace mental health training. I have also worked for 2 years in Birmingham City Centre counselling service St Martins offering free and low cost therapy.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Additional information

At the first session (assessment) you have the time to share your primary concern, and I have the opportunity to let you know what to expect from counselling. This is a time to establish if we want to work together. Sessions are 50 minutes.
Remember – this is your counselling time and you must find the be right therapist for you, if you want to get the most from your session.

Fees for individuals - £40

If you would like to work together, sessions will be over video call (Skype/Zoom/Microsoft Meetings).

We will review your progress at each session to ensure that we are working well and moving towards your goals.
