Mondonna Lannie, Counsellor, BSc (Hons) Psych, Dip Couns, MBACP
Hello, I'm Mondonna, whether you want a space to be heard, coping strategies, or support in processing your thoughts and feelings, we can explore your situation and work towards your personal goals for therapy.
I believe in an approach that is based around helping you to get the most out of your therapy sessions - valuing and focusing on you to help you gain more self-understanding and acceptance. Building a trusting relationship is so important so that you have the space to sort out confused feelings, feel heard and be treated as a unique individual in order to feel empowered in a positive way.
Will aim to respond to email within 48 hours.
* Please note: appointments are currently being held online due to the situation with Covid-19. No plans to return to face to face.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Areas of counselling I deal with
At the first session (assessment) you have the time to share your primary concern, and I have the opportunity to let you know what to expect from counselling. This is a time to establish if we want to work together. Sessions are 50 minutes.
Remember – this is your counselling time and you must find the be right therapist for you, if you want to get the most from your session.
Fees for individuals
£45 before 5pm
£50 after 5pm
If you would like to work together, sessions will be over video call (Skype/Zoom/Microsoft Meetings).
We will review your progress at each session to ensure that we are working well and moving towards your goals.
