Integrative Psychotherapist (MBACP) and Neurodiversity Coach

About me

Choosing a therapist is personal, and I believe it matters that you work with someone you feel genuinely comfortable with, someone you don't have to filter yourself around. I offer a space where you can be honest, even about the things that feel messy, uncomfortable or hard to say out loud. When I say there is no judgement, I mean it.

I'm a BACP registered integrative psychotherapist (MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy with Distinction) and a neurodiversity coach, and I offer long term therapy, short term therapy and single session support, so you can choose what fits your life right now. You don't need to have everything figured out before you get in touch. My style is relaxed, informal and human, while still being grounded in psychological theory and professional expertise. Therapy with me isn't rigid or intimidating. It's a space where you can be yourself, speak openly and feel truly heard.

I have worked across private practice, higher education, NHS services, charities, employability support and justice settings, and that breadth has shaped how I see people: never reduced to a diagnosis or a single difficulty, always part of a bigger picture. My work is trauma-informed, recognising how past experiences, identity and environment shape the way we feel, relate and move through the world.

Neurodiversity coaching and therapy

I specialise in working with ADHD and autism, whether you're exploring a possible diagnosis, have known for years, or are trying to make sense of a life spent adapting to a world that wasn't built with you in mind. Together we can look at what works for your brain, where things feel unsustainable, and how to build support that is realistic and kind.

LGBTQ+ affirmative practice

I am LGBTQ+ affirmative, which means your identity, relationships and experiences are welcomed as they are, never treated as something to be explained or fixed. You won't have to educate me or justify yourself here.

My therapeutic approach

My approach is integrative, collaborative and tailored to you. I draw on the Person-Centred Approach, Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which are all well researched and widely used. Some sessions might focus on understanding patterns and experiences, some on practical tools, and some simply on having room to process and feel understood. We work at your pace, balancing self-compassion with accountability to support change that feels meaningful and achievable.

I think the whole person should be considered, mind, body and spirit, and I'm interested in how the different parts of your life affect one another. I aim to offer culturally sensitive therapy that respects your identity, history and values, in a setting that is inclusive of diversity in all its forms.

Training, qualifications & experience

As a psychotherapist, I hold an MSc (Distinction) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I have over 1,000 clinical practice hours and experience across higher education, private practice, employability and justice services, LGBTQ+ organisations and relationship-focused services.

I am also a neurodiversity coach with expertise in working with ADHD and autism.

My clinical experience includes working with adults and young people aged 16+ presenting with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, emotional wellbeing, relationship difficulties, trauma and emotional regulation. I have extensive experience within university counselling services, providing short-term counselling, assessments, risk screening and wellbeing support to a diverse student population, alongside contributing to workshops, service development and placement supervision.

Alongside my private practice, I provide trauma-informed therapy to LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and have experience in psychological and risk assessment, safeguarding, collaborative support planning and multidisciplinary working. I have undertaken additional training in neurodiversity, eating disorders, relationships, trauma-informed practice, safeguarding and risk management, alongside ongoing CPD.

I work integratively, drawing on person-centred, CBT-informed and attachment-based approaches, with a warm, inclusive and client-centred therapeutic style.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
