About me

I am a qualified and experienced Individual, Couple, Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with over 25 years experience of working in the NHS; not for profit sector and the social care sectors, as well as working in private practice. I have experience in working cross-culturally with individuals, couples and families, including working with interpreters. I have worked extensively with trauma, anxiety and depression, as well as post migration issues. I have also worked with families and children experiencing separation and divorce.

As well as working with adults, I have experience in the full range of child and adolescent mental health issues and enjoy working with all age groups. I also have a great deal of experience of working with stress and employment related issues.

I offer a warm, confidential and accepting space in which we can look together at the issues that you are facing. I look forward to hearing from you.

In addition I provide Systemic Supervision for therapists working in a variety of settings, including independent practice. I am a registered and accredited supervisor with AFT (Association for Family Therapy) and UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
