About me
No matter if this is the first time or the fifth time you've had therapy, making the decision to talk to someone can bring a huge range of feelings on top of what you're already going through.
For some, the thought of therapy might be scary and may feel as though there is a stigma attached to it. For others; it might feel daunting or overwhelming, while it can also feel liberating and strangely exciting.
It is your first step on the journey of healing, and it can feel like your stepping out into the unknown. You may be considering talking to someone; or feeling as though you just need some support, either way, you're in the right place...
I will guide you through those first steps, by offering you a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space where we can talk and work through the things that are affecting you and your well-being. I believe your thoughts and feelings deserve the space and freedom to be acknowledged and felt without prejudice; no matter how big or small; and given the right conditions, you can grow towards wellness again.
Whatever you're facing, or going through, we can work together to bring awareness and understanding of your feelings and how they affect your current relationships. If you're feeling curious, and would like to know more, please feel free to get in touch and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
