About me
Hi, I’m Michelle, a qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I specialise in helping women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, burnt out, or disconnected from themselves, particularly those recovering from traumatic relationships.
I understand how deeply past experiences and relationships can impact your sense of self and your emotional wellbeing. That’s why my approach includes working with the nervous system, helping you regulate and restore balance after the effects of trauma, chronic stress, or emotional exhaustion.
Using a blend of trauma-informed practices, inner child healing, nervous system regulation techniques, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), I provide a safe, supportive space to help you heal at both emotional and physiological levels. Together, we’ll rebuild your self-worth, establish healthy boundaries, and empower you to step into the most confident version of yourself.
As a BACP-registered therapist, I adhere to the highest professional standards, ensuring you receive compassionate, evidence-based care. My mission is to help you heal, grow, and rediscover the strength that has always been within you.
Whether you’re recovering from the impact of an unhealthy relationship, battling self-doubt, or yearning for a fresh start, I’m here to walk alongside you on this journey of transformation.
Michelle.
What can you expect from your session?
Therapy is an 50 minute session offered in a serene therapy space located in Whitstable, Kent, or online, allowing you to choose the environment that feels most comfortable for you. In both settings, I provide a non-judgmental atmosphere where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. We will work through your goals and expectations within your first therapy session.
Discovery Call.
Choosing a counsellor that you feel comfortable with is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. I understand this can feel overwhelming, I offer an initial discovery 20 minute phone or zoom discovery call. This will enable you to know if I am the right fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
