About me
Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, my name is Michelle I'm a qualified integrative counsellor working with a holistic approach to suit the individual needs of my clients. I believe that therapy is unique for each individual, what works for one client may not work for another. I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I can use various methods such as CBT/Person-centred and alike therapies for each individual to suit your needs. I offer short and long-term counselling and offer both day and evening sessions. I work with adults and young people alike both in-person and remotely via zoom
What can you expect from your session?
Counselling takes place in a peaceful therapy space in Whitstable Kent. I offer a non-judgemental space for individuals to make a difference in their life and to support you in re-framing the understanding of yourselves in a peaceful therapy space.
Choosing a counsellor
Choosing a counsellor that you feel comfortable with is an important part of the therapeutic relationship. I understand this can feel overwhelming, I offer a free 30-minute consultation, which can be a phone call or email where you can talk about what you would like from counselling. This will enable you to know if I am the right person for you and if you are happy to continue we can set up a second session.
We are all unique, so working with a holistic and personalised approach allows my clients to be heard in a non-judgemental and safe space. My approach is inclusive and genuinely focused on helping you to create and maintain the changes you need to see in your life.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
