About me
How will you feel when you come to therapy? Nervous, anxious or scared probably. These feelings are natural but I provide a safe space where you can be your authentic self and feel heard during the difficult times.
I won't 'fix' you but you will leave our sessions feeling different because of the work we do together.
I have worked on myself over the years and this means that I too am able to being my authentic self.
I can offer a safe and non-judgemental space to explore support your addictive behaviours, helping you identify the root of these and bring my own lived experience of addiction which means I offer a deeper understanding. I can help you safely and openly explore your own identity. My training and personal experience mean I can help you work through some of your darker times. I won't use jargon or try to be the expert but I will work with you to help you understand the process and the work that we do.
Therapy can feel scary at first, might even increase you're anxiety in the beginning. I can help put you at ease with an introductory chat, where you can ask the questions you need to. Book an introductory call, either by phone or on zoom and we can start the process for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
