About me
Welcome,
I am a BACP registered and Accredited Psychotherapist/ Counsellor and EMDR Therapist. I support children, young people and adults through life’s challenges with empathy, respect, and authenticity. Free introductory call/ video offered.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. My approach is grounded in relational and humanistic values, which means I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether you’re facing anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right, I’m here to support you as you navigate your path forward.
I work integratively, drawing primarily from person-centred, this allows me to adapt to your unique needs and experiences while always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the core of our work.
As an experienced trauma therapist, I have an increasing understanding of trauma, and how it can manifest across the mind, body, and behaviour. Trauma often lives in the body, influencing our nervous system responses, physical health, and emotional regulation. It can shape how we think, relate, and respond to the world around us, sometimes in ways we are not aware of. I can support you in exploring this with compassion and curiosity, creating a safe space where these complex experiences can be gently explored and integrated at a pace that feels right for you.
Meet with me online for a 50-minute session where we can work together to process difficult feelings or experiences and explore any emotional issues at your own pace, within the comfort of your own home.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

What Is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help people heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. The process, using bilateral eye movement, sounds or tapping, helps reduce the emotional intensity of a memory and allows the brain to reprocess it in a more adaptive, less distressing way.
EMDR does not erase memories, but it helps individuals feel calmer, more in control, and less triggered by the past.
EMDR is widely used for PTSD, anxiety, phobias, grief, and other trauma-related concerns. Many people find that EMDR leads to faster and more lasting relief than traditional talk therapy alone. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by old experiences, EMDR can be a powerful and compassionate path toward healing.
