About me

Individual & Couples Therapy

Life can be hard and sometimes it can feel truly overwhelming to attempt to manage it alone.  You may be feeling overwhelmed by the breakdown of a relationship, trapped in a toxic relationship or struggling with the concept of being single, due to low self esteem. Whatever your circumstances, I aim to offer you a safe, non-judgemental space to talk through any issues and make sense of what is truly going on for you.

I understand that taking the step to seek counselling can be extremely daunting and I want to make the process as easy and as comfortable for you as possible.

The style of counselling I offer is grounded in person centred theory , which means I keep my client's needs and goals at the forefront of our work together. If appropriate, I may also suggest implementing some cognitive behavioural therapy coping strategies, if this could help to restructure some thought processes.

Choosing a therapist to work with can be an overwhelming process and it's important to find the perfect fit for you.

The main areas I work with are:

  • Relationship issues
  • Self Esteem
  • Confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Lack of purpose

Couples Therapy

Have you and your partner found yourselves at a crossroads, unable to make sense of your future? Are you struggling to juggle family commitments at the expense of your relationship or dealing with the consequences of infidelity? Couples therapy can provide you with a neutral, safe space to constructively discuss any aspect of your relationship, in order to make positive changes. Your relationship will be at the forefront of our work and we will work together towards your goals, ensuring that both individuals feel heard.

I offer a free, 20 minute discovery call to see if we would be a good fit to work together.

All sessions are 50 minutes and I can offer face to face, online via Microsoft Teams or telephone sessions.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
