About me
I am a BACP registered counsellor, deeply passionate about helping people. Through my own personal life experience and mental health challenges, counselling and psychotherapy have given me a life perspective I would have never imagined before. I truly believe we each have our own answers, sometimes buried deep within us. Therapy is a process to unearth them, perhaps when they are needed most.
I work with an integrative counselling approach for a range of life issues. This starts with an exploration of the presenting problem(s), linking in past experiences to the present, to formulate goals for therapy going forward. I cater to the personal needs of each client in order to unlock their full potential.
Whatever the problem(s), no matter how great or small it is perceived to be, help is available to overcome them. Friends, colleagues, and clients have described me as calm, caring, and resilient. I have a thirst for knowledge and understanding of people. I value connection, trust, and honesty, and I am committed in my work to help you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
- Level 6 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision.
- Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Integrative).

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

If you have genuine financial difficulty that may exclude you from attending counselling, my practice, Life Perspective, operates an affordable counselling service. I want counselling to be available to everyone, no matter what their financial situation is (please ask for details).

Session Types & Location
I offer online sessions via Zoom and telephone counselling.
I also offer face-to-face sessions in Billericay and Chelmsford.
Clinical Supervision
£70 per 90-minute monthly session, £50 per 60-minute fortnightly session.
Counselling Trainee Students
Further to counselling and supervision, as a counselling tutor for CPCAB, I am able to offer extra coaching support to students, such as guidance with criteria and portfolio assignments.
