About me
My role as your counsellor is to help you to make sense of what's happened in your life and to untangle the ways it's affecting you now. I will create a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space and we'll work collaboratively, so you can breathe, and explore your feelings at your own pace.
You’ll make sense of the choices and patterns you’ve outgrown. You’ll develop awareness and confidence again, so you can move forward and be freed from the past to grow into the person you want to be.
My counselling draws on relational psychodynamic and humanistic models of psychotherapy. How I work is always tailored to each person. I have experience of working with depression, anxiety, emotional neglect and trauma, childhood abuse, bereavement, burnout, single-parenting, boarding school abandonment, and recovery from narcissistic abuse and coercive control.
I work within the NCPS ethical framework.
I offer short-term and long-term therapy, in person, online, or by phone.
Maybe you're:
- Seeking space and healing as you reclaim yourself from a relationship that wasn't good for you
- Feeling nagging anxiety or low mood, or loss of confidence and frustration
- Wanting to transform anger and negative self- perceptions
- Navigating bereavement or grieving the loss of a meaningful relationship
- Shouldering the burden of family care
- Wanting to live your life, rather than the version that others gave you
- Seeking a sense of wholeness and peace in yourself
As a first step -
It's important to find someone you’re comfortable to work with.
You're welcome to connect with me here, and we’ll arrange a half-hour discovery call so that you can see if working with me feels right to you.
Whatever your story, every feeling and every part of you is welcome.

I offer therapy online with clients across the UK, I offer the same depth of work in both formats. Online therapy can be particularly valuable for those with demanding schedules, caring responsibilities, or who simply feel more comfortable exploring difficult material from the safety of their own space.
