About me
I'm an integrative counsellor and have been practising since 2015. My experience includes bereavement support, domestic violence services and work with the mental health charity Mind. That grounding means I'm comfortable with difficult stories and move at your pace. I have a particular interest in working with adults diagnosed with ADHD or AuDHD. I understand how masking can leave you exhausted and unsure of who you are, how emotional dysregulation can feel overwhelming, and how rejection sensitivity can make everyday interactions painful. I also work with the emotional impact of perimenopause, which can intensify these experiences. I draw on psychodynamic, person-centred, CBT and solution-focused approaches, and we'll shape the work around what helps you. Some people want to understand old patterns, others want practical tools, and many want both. Many of the people I work with have spent years coping quietly: masking, over-explaining, managing big emotions, or wondering why things feel harder for them than for everyone else. Therapy with me is a space where you don't have to perform.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, which I obtained with CPPD training provider. I've been in practice for 11 years, working with adults across the full range of life's difficulties, from grief and trauma to anxiety, low mood, and the everyday pressures. I offer integrative counselling with a focus on anxiety, depression, work-related stress, and bereavement, helping you make sense of what you're carrying and find steadier ground. I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and AuDHD, as well as people navigating family issues and the emotional impact of perimenopause and menopause. I work with parents facing some of life's hardest moments: the death of a child, fertility struggles and loss, or the demands of raising a neurodivergent child.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Once we've been in touch, we'll arrange a free 15-minute telephone conversation at a time that suits you. It's a chance to ask questions, tell me a little about what's brought you here, and see whether we feel like a good fit. There's no pressure or obligation.
If we both feel it's right, we'll then book your first session. This is a chance to talk through what you'd like support with and to agree together how we'll work.
