About me
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, offering a thoughtful and supportive space where we can explore what is bringing you to therapy, at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is integrative, drawing on humanistic, person-centred, Gestalt, and psychodynamic perspectives. This means I work in a relational and experiential way, paying close attention to what is happening in the present moment, as well as to how past experiences and early relationships may continue to influence current feelings, behaviours, and patterns of relating. I work flexibly and responsively, adapting my approach to each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change emerges through presence, awareness, and a trusting therapeutic relationship. I aim to meet clients where they are, offering space to notice thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and relational patterns as they arise. Some people come to therapy with a clear difficulty they want to address, while others arrive with a quieter sense of unease, disconnection, or feeling stuck. Both are very welcome.
Alongside talking therapy, I also offer Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, where appropriate. This can provide an embodied and relational way of exploring emotional experience, boundaries, and connection. Any equine-assisted work is discussed carefully and is always optional, guided by the client’s needs, readiness, and therapeutic aims.
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, and challenges around identity or self-worth. I offer a calm, non-judgemental, and confidential space in which understanding, awareness, and change can gradually develop.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, with training rooted in humanistic, Gestalt, person-centred, and psychodynamic approaches. My training included extensive supervised clinical practice and a strong focus on relational, ethical, and reflective work.
I have been working with supervised client hours since 2021, including placements with Terrence Higgins Trust, The Awareness Centre, Mind, and ASCA, supporting adults with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
I also hold an Italian Bachelor’s degree (Laurea – BA equivalent) from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, which provides a solid academic and reflective foundation for my practice.
Alongside talking therapy, I am trained in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy. I have been working with horses and addiction since 2016, supporting clients through embodied, relational work that complements traditional psychotherapy where appropriate.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP, work with regular clinical supervision, engage in ongoing continuing professional development, and hold full professional indemnity insurance
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
