About me
Welcome – I’m Marta
I’m a fully registered, UKCP-accredited Gestalt Psychotherapist, with specialist training in working with both individuals and groups. My passion lies in creating a collaborative space where meaningful insight, self-discovery and lasting change can emerge.
For Individuals
My approach is compassionate, creative and exploratory. I work alongside you to gently uncover what truly matters, at your own pace and in a way that feels right for you.
You might be:
- Seeking personal growth
- Feeling stuck or unsure of your next step
- Processing past experiences
- Wanting to change repeating patterns in your life
Whatever brings you, we’ll explore your strengths, expand your sense of possibility, and support you in cultivating more fulfilling relationships — with yourself and with others.
For Groups
I have extensive experience in facilitating therapeutic groups and hold a special interest in the power of this dynamic setting. Group work offers a unique opportunity for:
- Shared insight
- Meaningful connection
- A supportive environment for transformation
It can be especially helpful for those exploring belonging, identity, or relational patterns.

Therapeutic Experience
I bring a wealth of experience from working across education, forensic mental health (NHS) and the non-profit sector. As the clinical lead of a busy mental health charity with multiple London locations, I’ve supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges — including trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, identity questions, and relationship difficulties.
These experiences have given me deep insight into the complexity of mental health and human relationships, and how our histories, environments and identities shape the way we experience the world.
How I Work
My approach is grounded in Gestalt Therapy, which focuses on the here and now — your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and relationships in the present moment.
Together, we’ll explore how your current experiences may be connected to deeper patterns, whether you're living with anxiety, ADHD, identity concerns, or a longing for change or connection.
A core part of my work is curiosity and dialogue. I invite you to gently tune into your body and emotions, which often hold unspoken insights that can lead to meaningful growth. I believe in each person’s natural capacity for healing, creativity and resilience — and that therapy can be a powerful space to rediscover your voice and choices.
What to Expect in Your First Session
Your first session is a space to:
- Get a feel for working together
- Explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope for
- Ask any questions in a calm, supportive setting
This initial meeting is designed to help you feel empowered, understood, and safe as we begin your journey.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

My approach centres on curiosity and dialogue, fostering an open and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I work with each client as a unique individual, adapting my methods to suit your specific needs and goals.
I deeply value the role of language and culture in shaping our experiences and emotions. Being able to express yourself fully in your native language can be transformative, which is why I provide therapy in English, Spanish, and Italian and I write a weekly blog.
Together, we can explore your experiences in a way that honours your personal and cultural identity, ensuring a truly tailored and meaningful therapeutic journey.
Curious about how I work? I write regularly about therapy, identity, and healing.
