About me

Imagine waking up each morning with a sense of clarity, purpose and inner strength... If that seems impossible right now, I can help you get there.

You may feel broken, stuck, and exhausted from trying therapy that hasn’t worked. The weight of trauma, anxiety, ADHD, or OCD can leave you feeling misunderstood and hopeless.

It’s frustrating when nothing seems to ease the pain. Self-doubt, shame, and cycles of unhealthy coping—like overeating, overspending, outbursts, or panic attacks—begin to take over your life.

Friends and family might not fully understand, leaving you feeling even more isolated. You wonder if anyone truly sees your struggle or can offer a way forward.

About Me
I’m Marion Wachet, a Clinical Psychologist specialising in somatic, trauma-informed therapy. Many of my clients arrive by feeling stuck in spirals of anxiety, compulsions, relational overwhelm, or emotional disconnection. They’ve tried therapy before, but nothing has truly shifted the root.

I work with what’s beyond the story: your nervous system’s memory, your patterns of protection, and the emotional body that needs to feel safe to release.

How can I help you?
If you’ve been to therapy but still feel stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, spiralling into compulsions, or emotionally disconnected,  you’re not alone!
Many of my clients are functioning on the outside, but inwardly caught in a cycle of overthinking, people-pleasing, shame, or avoidance. Despite all their insight, they feel as though nothing really shifts.

That’s where I come in.
I specialise in helping people move beyond coping into true and embodied living.

Together, we’ll:

  • Understand what your symptoms are really trying to protect you from
  • Work with your nervous system to release what’s stuck (not just talk about it)
  • Gently challenge the patterns of overcontrol, shutdown, or emotional chaos
  • Reconnect you with the parts of you that feel safe, capable, and whole

My integrative approach blends psychological therapies (like EMDR, CBT, DBT, Schema and psychodynamic work) with somatic tools (like breathwork and movement) to help you access deeper, more lasting change.

If you’re ready for therapy that goes beyond the surface, I’d love to support your next chapter.

Background
I’m a Consultant Clinical and Counselling Psychologist (HCPC-registered) with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, OCD, emotional overwhelm, and complex mental health challenges.

My work is grounded in the belief that symptoms are not signs of brokenness,  but messages from the body and nervous system, shaped by past experiences of fear, chaos, or disconnection. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, control, shutdown, or emotional spirals, even after years of therapy.

This is why I developed the RESET approach: a structured, integrative model that brings together psychological therapies and somatic tools to help clients move from survival to safety.

I’m trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including:

  • EMDR, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, MANTRA
  • Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Transactional Analysis approaches
    Systemic and time-limited frameworks
  • Somatic techniques including breathwork (Transformational Breath, Wim Hof Method), strength-based movement, and cold exposure

I use a flexible, integrative approach to meet your specific needs, whether we’re working short-term toward a specific shift, or longer-term to rewire deep-rooted survival patterns.
