About me
I believe meaningful therapeutic change begins with feeling understood. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity and collaboration, creating a space where you can explore your experiences without judgement, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards meaningful change.
I am a CBT therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I hold an MSc in Psychology, specialising in Cognitive and Neuropsychology, alongside advanced training in Schema Therapy. I am also working towards clinical accreditation in this approach.
My practice integrates evidence-based psychological interventions with a compassionate, individualised and trauma-informed approach. I work with adults and young people experiencing a range of difficulties, with a particular interest in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety and the deeper-rooted patterns that can contribute to longstanding emotional difficulties.
I primarily work with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, adapting our work to reflect your individual needs and goals. CBT helps us understand the relationship between our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviours, identify what may be maintaining distress, and develop practical strategies for responding differently.
Schema Therapy allows us to explore the underlying beliefs, emotional needs and recurring patterns that can influence how we see ourselves, experience relationships and respond to difficult emotions. Earlier experiences, including adverse or traumatic experiences, can shape these patterns and influence how we cope in adulthood. Together, we can explore these connections with greater understanding and compassion, while working towards healthier ways of relating to ourselves and others.
I believe therapy should be more than a set of techniques. The therapeutic relationship matters, and I aim to balance evidence-based interventions with warmth, openness and genuine collaboration. I recognise that everyone brings their own history, strengths and perspective to therapy, and I tailor our work accordingly.
Whether we are focusing on managing current symptoms, working through the impact of past experiences or exploring longstanding beliefs and relationship patterns, my aim is to help you make sense of your difficulties and find ways forward that feel meaningful to you. I offer a respectful, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, with both understanding and therapeutic challenge where appropriate.
I offer face-to-face and online therapy. If you would like to discuss working together, please email me.
If you are ready to move from navigating symptoms to actively changing them, please feel free to contact me to discuss how we can work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
