About me
I am an experienced Psychotherapist and HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist offering relational psychodynamic psychotherapy online to adults across the UK.
There are times when life can feel difficult to hold alone. You may be experiencing anxiety, loss, difficulties in relationships, a sense that something isn't quite right, or finding yourself at a point of change without knowing what comes next.
My approach is relational and psychodynamic. This means we think together about what is happening in your life now, while also being curious about how earlier experiences and relationships may continue to shape the way you experience yourself and others.
I don't offer quick answers or a formula for change. Instead, I aim to provide a thoughtful, containing space in which things that have previously felt difficult to understand or put into words can gradually be explored.
My background as an Art Psychotherapist informs the way I think about emotional experience and creativity, although you do not need to make art in our sessions. We may sometimes draw on dreams, images or writing when these feel useful.
I have more than twenty years' clinical experience across NHS, community and private-practice settings and over ten years' experience supervising psychotherapists, art psychotherapists and trainees.
Sessions are online via Zoom and last 50 minutes. I offer an initial 50-minute consultation so that we can think together about what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels right.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
