About me
I am a Counselling Psychologist, BPS chartered Counselling Psychologist, accredited Psychotherapist with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) to support people who would like to process traumatic memories using this evidenced-based model.
My work is focused on the relationship between body, emotions, thoughts and imagination. Grounded in the idea of holding a warm and non-judgmental space, I’m passionate about looking at a wide variety of tools that might suit you towards growth, healing, transformation and embodied presence. I am curious about how you see the world, what matters to you, how you are feeling physically, mentally and spiritually to support you to embody a life that feels meaningful for you.
I have ten years of experience in working with children, teenagers, adults in the private, public and charity sectors, bringing innovative models to diverse populations in Argentina and in the UK. I also work with couples, families where I draw on systemic theories to look at the system itself, and what is blocking them to build relationships that feel healthy, deeper and more meaningful.
I have been running groups or workshops for more than five years now so if you are interested in these, please check my website. https://thetherapeuticspace.com/
My approach intersects somatic psychology, existential psychotherapy and I also integrate trauma-informed approaches as I described above. However, I integrate different models to suit your needs. In addition to my core trainings, I have a certificate on DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) from SDS. I completed a training on Internal Family Systems: A Step by Step Guide Through Clinical Applications of the IFS Model with Frank Anderson and a training on Polyvagal Theory in Therapy delivered by Deb Dana. For people interested in using the language of the arts (movement, drawing and writing) in the room, I trained at Tamalpa Institute in California in 2018 to use creative therapy to explore personal and collective themes and promote the development of creative resources and artful communication.
I offer sessions face to face or online in English and Spanish.
I accept Bupa, AXA, AVIVA and Vitality insurances.

British Psychological Society

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
