About me
I offer low cost counselling in Sheffield and surrounding areas for anxiety and depression resulting from difficult and painful life-changing events. I also work with victims of historic and present-day domestic and sexual abuse. You may be facing a particular challenge, or perhaps you’re feeling low, stuck, or emotionally overwhelmed and need time and space to sort through your thoughts and feelings. I can help you gain new insight and support you in making meaningful, lasting changes. I work with people from varied backgrounds and concerns, offering a non-judgemental, respectful and inclusive space where you can speak openly.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) with over five years' experience supporting the mental health of individuals within the NHS and the public-sector. I specialise in working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, substance addictions, eating disorders, and survivors of present/historic sexual and domestic abuse.
I also offer single-session therapy (SST) for individuals who want prompt, goal-oriented help for a specific, well-defined issue rather than deep, long-term counselling support.
