About me
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or like you're constantly carrying the weight of everything on your own?
Life can feel exhausting sometimes. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, or simply feeling lost in the chaos of life, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I'm Maisie, a qualified and accredited integrative therapist. I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, panic attacks, depression, relationship issues, family difficulties, grief, and emotional overwhelm. I also have a particular interest in supporting people through experiences such as PMDD, miscarriage, baby loss, infidelity, body image concerns, and low self-worth.
Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. From the outside, they seem to be coping. Inside, they're exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, or feeling disconnected from who they are.
Therapy with me isn't cold, clinical, or about sitting in silence while someone nods at you. It's a genuine human relationship built on trust, honesty, and compassion. There is space for tears, laughter, frustration, uncertainty, and everything in between. You don't need the perfect words or to have everything figured out. You simply need a space where it's safe to be yourself without judgement.
As an integrative therapist, I tailor therapy to you. No two people are the same, so no two therapeutic journeys should be either. I draw from a range of approaches, including REBT, CBT, compassion-focused therapy, parts work, and solution-focused therapy, adapting our work to meet your individual needs and goals.
Some sessions may involve exploring difficult experiences from your past and understanding how they continue to affect you today. Others might focus on challenging self-critical beliefs, developing healthier boundaries, managing anxiety, improving relationships, or finding ways to cope with life's challenges that feel more sustainable and supportive.
This isn't about quick fixes or pretending everything is positive when it isn't. It's about understanding what's keeping you stuck, building self-awareness, developing healthier ways of coping, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
If you're tired of carrying everything on your own and something in this resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. Leave as more of yourself.
*Please note that I don’t offer fortnightly sessions as a standard arrangement. This frequency is typically only used as part of the process when therapy is coming to an end and sessions are being gradually tapered.*
