About me
I offer trauma-informed, person-centred dramatherapeutic interventions for children and young people. My specialist areas include anxiety, low mood, self-harm, attachment difficulties, gender and sexuality exploration, long-term illness, experiences of abuse, and emotional dysregulation. Although these are my specialist areas, I am able to work with a broad range of mental health concerns due to my varied clinical experience. My practice includes working with individuals with specific learning needs and diverse neurocognitive profiles, tailoring interventions to client strengths and preferences.
Training, qualifications & experience
Professional Training
Dramatherapy – Advanced training in therapeutic techniques using drama and creative arts to support emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Includes practical application, group facilitation, and reflective practice in clinical or educational settings.
Enhanced Evidence-Based Practice – Training focused on applying research-informed interventions to optimize client outcomes. Strengthened skills in CBT techniques, including behavioural activation and exposure therapy, through integrating evidence, clinical expertise, and client-centred practice.
Professional Experience:
I have worked as a therapist for six years, four of which were within CAMHS in the NHS, supporting complex clients with a wide range of communication styles, learning needs, and developmental profiles. I tailor my approach to each young person, creating a safe, creative, and collaborative therapeutic space where they can explore their experiences and build emotional resilience.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
