About me
Hello, I’m Luke, a Clinical Psychologist specialising in helping people break free from anxiety related patterns and feel more at ease with themselves.
I’ve worked across NHS, charity, and private sector settings, supporting people from all walks of life through a wide range of challenges.
Whatever difficulties you face, I can help you to:
- Develop self-understanding and build a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself
- Unhook from unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck
- Live a life that reflects your values, rather than your fears
Ultimately, my approach is guided by a simple belief: you are not broken, and your struggles do not define you. If you’d like to explore what a new way forward could look like, I offer a free 15-minute consultation.
Training, qualifications & experience
Trained to Doctoral level, my approach draws on the latest psychological research, but above all focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic relationship as a foundation for change.
I have experience working with:
- Adolescent/young adult issues
- Anxiety, worry, and intrusive thoughts
- Low self-esteem and identity struggles
- OCD
- Low mood and depression
- The impact of trauma
- Stress related to school, work, or relationships
- Living with long-term physical health conditions (such as persistent pain, fatigue, and gastrointestinal difficulties)
I am also the co-founder of Being You Psychology based in Hove, where I provide:
- Gold-standard, neuroaffirming ADHD assessments
- Timely feedback within four weeks
- Post-diagnostic support to help you build self-understanding, embrace your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to lead.
- A safe, non-judgemental space for anyone who has ever felt overlooked, misunderstood, or unsupported
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
