About me

Couples Therapy in Manchester, Leeds and Online

Helping couples stop arguing, reconnect emotionally, and fall in love again

Are you stuck in a cycle of conflict, silence, or emotional distance?

Do you miss the love, passion, and connection you once had?

I specialise in couples therapy that helps people heal their relationship, stop arguing, and fall in love again.

I offer in-person couples counselling and individual therapy in Manchester and Leeds, as well as online therapy across the UK.

I Can Help If You’re Struggling With:

  • Constant arguments, emotional disconnection, or feeling stuck
  • Affairs, betrayal, or broken trust
  • Sex or porn addiction affecting your intimacy
  • Polyamory, open relationships, or ethical non-monogamy
  • Communication breakdowns and unresolved emotional wounds
  • Separation, divorce, or fear of losing your relationship
  • Family issues that are impacting your current connection
  • Stress, anxiety, or depression that is spilling into your relationship

My Approach

I combine Imago Relationship Therapy with evidence-based approaches like:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

I also draw from Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Authentic Relating to help you express your needs clearly and listen with empathy.

This integrative method is trauma-informed, adaptable, and grounded in deep compassion. It helps couples move from blame and reactivity to emotional safety, connection, and love.

Support for Individuals

I also work with individuals who want to improve their mental health and create healthier relationships.

I can help you with:

  • Anxiety, depression, and stress
  • Low self-esteem and low self-confidence
  • Healing from trauma or past relationship wounds
  • Navigating life with ADHD or Autism (neurodivergent-affirming)
  • Letting go of patterns that block intimacy and connection
  • Communicating more effectively and compassionately

If you’re single, dating, or recovering from heartbreak, I can help you reconnect with yourself — and build the foundations for fulfilling love.

Why Work With Me

I bring over 10 years’ experience in mental health, working in both the NHS and private practice. But more than that, I bring lived experience.

I believe healing is a lifelong journey — and relationships are our most powerful teachers. Everything I offer my clients, I’ve road-tested in my own life.

The more I grow, the more I can support others to do the same. And the more I help others, the more I continue to evolve.

Next Steps: Book a Free 30-Minute Consultation

Whether you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start — you don’t have to face it alone.

Let’s have a free 30-minute call to see how I can support you. You can ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it’s the right fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the BABCP, with over 10 years’ experience supporting people through deep personal and relational challenges. I began my career in the NHS and now work in private practice, offering both individual therapy and couples counselling.

I specialise in couples therapy, using Imago Relationship Therapy to help couples move from conflict and disconnection into emotional safety, understanding, and love.

I also support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism, low self-esteem, and other mental health challenges.

My work is grounded in conscious relating practices — including Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Authentic Relating — which help clients communicate with more honesty, compassion and clarity.

But beyond the qualifications and models, what truly shapes my work is my own healing journey. Everything I offer to clients, I’ve explored and tested in my own life. I believe therapy is most powerful when it’s relational, experiential, and rooted in lived experience.

This includes: help to open up the relationship, dealing with jealousy and insecurity, boundary setting amongst multiple partners, communication difficulties, and dealing with societal pressures and stigma.
