About me
I support women who feel constantly on alert, deeply self-critical, or disconnected from themselves - often shaped by trauma, emotional neglect, attachment wounds, or years of putting others first.
You might look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside you feel constantly braced for danger, scanning everyone and everything around you, and so tense. Your mind rarely switches off. Your body holds tension you can’t seem to release. Decisions feel heavy. Relationships feel hard work. And somewhere along the way, you’ve lost touch with who you are beneath the roles, expectations, and self-doubt.
If this resonates, you’re not broken - your nervous system has learned to stay alert in order to survive. And it makes absolute sense that you’re exhausted.
I want you to know that you don’t have to keep carrying this alone.
There was a time when I, too, was focused on keeping everyone else happy while constantly feeling lost inside. My own therapy helped me reconnect with myself - and that lived experience deeply informs how I work.
Imagine a life where you…
- can slow your mind and feel moments of genuine calm
- trust yourself - your instincts, boundaries, and decisions
- feel safer in your own body, rather than constantly on high alert
- have relationships that don’t require you to shrink or perform
- are less defined by past experiences and more present in your life
- begin to recognise yourself again - not just the anxious version
What it’s like to work with me
Our work is relational, trauma-informed, and focused on helping your nervous system feel safer, steadier, and less alone.
Your sessions are your space to slow things down. You decide what we talk about and what feels important. I won’t give advice or tell you how to live your life - you are the expert in your experience.
That said, I’m not a neutral or blank slate therapist. I will gently challenge you, reflect patterns you may not yet see, and offer perspectives that support deeper understanding and change. I bring my full, real self into the room so we can build a relationship where you feel safe enough to explore what’s underneath.
Areas we might work with include:
Identity & Self-Discovery
Exploring who you are beneath roles, expectations, and people-pleasing.
Healing Trauma & Attachment Wounds
Working compassionately with past experiences so they have less hold on your present.
Anxiety & Nervous System Regulation
Understanding how your body responds to stress and learning ways to feel more grounded and settled.
Self-Worth & Self-Compassion
Softening the inner critic and developing a steadier, kinder relationship with yourself.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified, experienced integrative psychotherapist with a holistic approach to mental wellness. My training includes:
- BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Professional Practice) - First Class

- Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP)
- BWYQ Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga
- CPD Certificate in Restorative Yoga

Alongside formal training, my lived experience - as a mother, business owner, and mature student, shapes the way I work. Additional training in yoga and body-based practices supports a nervous-system-aware, whole-person approach to therapy.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
