About me
Embodied Psychotherapy follows a humanistic, relational approach with a focus on the mind-body connection.
I offer individual psychotherapy sessions at The Bridgeman Centre in Wigan and online via Zoom.
Currently, I have availability on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am on the ADMP UK register of private practitioners and working towards full UKCP Accreditation.
I have worked in academia as a Visiting Lecturer, Dissertation Supervisor and Associate Tutor in universities in London and North West England.
My scope of practice includes working with children, young people and adults in mainstream, SEMH and SEND school provisions, Community Hospice, Residential Care, Supported Accommodations and Lodgings including a mother and baby service, Acquired Brain Injury Charity Community Services, Fostering, Early Intervention, Transition, Preparation and Moving-On Services, Youth Justice, and pre-trial therapy work. I have experience in parent-carer direct work and alongside multi-agency professionals offering training, advice and consultancy.
My work now includes private psychotherapy practice, freelance training for an independent Therapeutic Fostering Organisation, and as a senior practitioner on a UK-wide mental health and wellbeing support programme for staff in education.
The option to work creatively through movement, art, or other creative fields is available to support you during the sessions.

Initial therapy consultation: 15 minute phone call (free of charge).
Ongoing therapy: Individual sessions last for 50 minutes.
