MA, Psychotherapist (ADMP UK registered)

About me

Embodied Psychotherapy follows a person-centered, relational approach with a focus on the mind-body connection.

I am interested in you and what you bring to the space, and how we can creatively explore and discover areas of thought (what we think), feeling (how we feel) and sensation (our experiences inside us) to help you establish deeper self-understanding and awareness.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am on the ADMP UK register of private practitioners and a UKCP trainee psychotherapist working towards full Accreditation.

I have worked in academia as a Visiting Lecturer, Dissertation Supervisor and Associate Tutor in universities in London and North West England, UK.

My scope of practice includes working with children, young people and adults in mainstream, SEMH and SEND school provisions, Community Hospice, Residential Care, Supported Accommodations and Lodgings including a mother and baby service, Acquired Brain Injury Charity Community Services, Fostering, Early Intervention, Transition, Preparation and Moving on Services, Youth Justice, and pre-trial therapy work. I also have experience in parent-carer direct work and alongside multi-agency professionals offering training, advice and consultancy.

I am trained and certified as an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) Caregiver and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP®) Group Model Facilitator.
