About me

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I know that considering counselling and finding the right counsellor can feel daunting, so simply being here is an important first step.

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor offering a safe, supportive, and professional space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without judgment.

Many people come to counselling when they’re struggling with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, addiction, or a loss of meaning and direction. While these experiences are painful, they can also signal that something within us needs care and attention. Experience has shown me that gently exploring your life events, patterns, and emotions with openness and curiosity can be transformative — leading to greater awareness, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.

I believe each person is unique, so my approach is flexible and tailored to your individual needs. I offer a collaborative and relational way of working — a partnership that is open, honest, and supportive. This creates the space for you to explore yourself and your relationships in ways that might not feel possible in everyday life.

I offer sessions on a weekly, fortnightly or flexible basis to meet your needs.  Sessions are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (9.30am-4pm) and are £50 (50 minutes).  For in person sessions, my private practice is based in the centre of Norwich, in a quiet setting a few minutes walk from several city-centre car parks.

Online sessions are via Zoom. Many clients find Zoom a flexible option to fit around work, life and family.  I lived in West London for many years before returning to Norfolk where I grew up, so understand the experiences and challenges of both urban and rural life.  Online clients based in London, Norfolk or other parts of the UK are welcomed.

Should you have any questions or want to book an initial session please contact me by phone or email.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

I am a registered member of BACP and working to their ethical and professional standards is an integral part of my practice.

Alongside private practice, I've worked as a counsellor for St Barnabas Counselling Centre based in Norwich.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
