About me
I offer trauma‑informed counselling and embodied therapeutic support for women and those socialised as female. My work centres on experiences of overwhelm, burnout, relationship strain, and life transitions, with attention to how these challenges show up in both the mind and the body.
Clients often come to me when they feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in familiar patterns, or moving through a period of change that feels unsettling. I provide a calm, steady space where you can explore what’s happening at a pace that feels manageable.
Together we pay attention to your nervous system, your emotional landscape, and the deeper stories shaping how you relate to yourself and others. My approach is gentle, relational, and grounded. I support you to understand your experiences, soften survival patterns, and reconnect with your own inner resources, so you can move forward with more clarity, ease, and self‑connection.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling, drawing on person‑centred, psychodynamic, TA, CBT, and attachment‑based approaches.
My therapeutic work is supported by a long background in embodied practice as a qualified and experienced yoga teacher, with particular focus on trauma‑sensitive movement and nervous‑system regulation.
I have experience supporting women rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse, and I also work with adults navigating identity, anxiety, relationships and life transitions. My earlier career in birth work includes pregnancy yoga, postnatal support and training as a birth and postnatal doula, alongside facilitating women’s retreats and embodied workshops.
Before moving fully into counselling, I worked across both corporate and charity sectors, giving me a grounded understanding of workplace stress, burnout and relational dynamics.
Alongside my private practice, I work with individuals and families affected by addiction, supporting emotional regulation, relational strain and the wider impact of addiction on wellbeing.
