About me
Are you suffering from anxiety, depression or low self esteem? Have you recently been diagnosed with ADHD or do you suspect that you might have it? I am a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor registered with the BACP. I can support you through the challenges you are facing.
I have experience of working with a range of topics including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, autism, trauma, childhood abuse, addiction, sexual abuse and assault and many other topics.
I am an integrative therapist which means I draw on different methods and theories to support you.
The sessions are always about you, the client, and what you want and need and I work closely with you to support you.
Therapy can help provide insight, clarity and relief. By providing a non judgemental, emphatic and supportive space I help clients realise the things in their lives that are holding them back so they can make positive changes and move forwards.
Client Testimonies:
“Lucia has been a real life-saver for me on several occasions, with no exaggeration.
Her listening skills are amazing, she always takes such care to understand things from my perspective.
She's been very kind and attentive unfailingly, and I'm not sure I would have got through a tough time without her counselling!“
“I just wanted to send a quick email to tell you how amazing my 12 sessions were with Lucia. I didn’t expect to feel such a change. I went from completely and utterly overwhelmed and stuck to something quite calm and manageable. She was so very kind, understanding and encouraging. She’s quite an amazing counsellor who performed what seemed like magic. I can’t thank her enough.”

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
