About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience working in mental health services with adults, young people, children, and families. I have a peaceful and comfortable therapy room in Hethersett, with plenty of parking, and close access to public transport and a lovely cafe. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as the British Psychological Society.
I am passionate about getting to know individuals and hearing about their experiences and challenges, which also enables the effective co-creation of an individualised, formulation-led, treatment plan, based on preferences and personal goals. I have a particular interest in trauma, but work with a range of difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, personality disorder, relationship challenges, low self-esteem and bereavement. I have experience and knowledge of working alongside people who are also neurodiverse (specifically, ADHD and ASD).
Training, qualifications & experience
With 15 years experience working in NHS, Private and Local Authority services, I have the skills to assess, identify, and treat a wide range of difficulties. I work with individuals and couples, offering adapted therapy to suit neurodiversity (specifically ADHD and ASD).
I am an integrative therapist, which means I draw upon a range of psychological models, approaches and strategies. Working integratively means we can work flexibly, focussing on specific goals whilst also being able to adapt to individual needs and preferences, which also includes making space for the daily challenges life presents.
I have extensive knowledge in a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT skills, ISF principles, systemic and behaviourist approaches, and attachment theory.
I am also trained in autism diagnostic assessment as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) for children and adults.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
