About me
Life can present many difficulties, and sometimes seeking support is the first step towards making a positive change. Whatever has brought you to seek counselling, whether it’s a specific crisis, feeling stuck, or a desire for better self-understanding, it reflects your readiness to make a change. Counselling provides a safe, confidential space to explore these issues with professional support. Whether you're facing addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling overwhelmed, together, we can work through what's going on for you and find a clearer path forward.
As a relational Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I use a combination of approaches, including humanistic, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and psychodynamic techniques. I tailor my approach to fit your specific needs, understanding that everyone is unique. The core of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, where you can be heard and understood.
I offer both short-term, goal-focused therapy and longer-term support, depending on what feels right for you. Sessions can be in-person, via Zoom, or by phone. Online or phone sessions are a convenient option if attending in person is challenging. I offer Zoom-based counselling to individuals across the UK, including the Scottish Isles, and to those who frequently travel, work offshore, or have shift-based roles.
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs and how we can work together. After that, we can schedule an initial session, which can be online, by phone, or in person, depending on your preference. We'll work through what you're facing, find new ways of thinking, and take practical steps towards a more balanced life, at a pace that works for you.
