About me
Hello, I’m Lisa - a qualified Integrative Therapist based in the UK, offering a safe and supportive space for adults navigating life’s challenges.
I work with people who are feeling lost, anxious, or disconnected - often after experiences that have shaken their confidence or sense of self. Many of my clients come to me following trauma, emotionally abusive or narcissistic relationships, or long periods of people-pleasing and self-doubt. You might be trying to rebuild trust in yourself, find your voice again, or simply feel like you once more.
Whatever brings you here, we’ll work together at your pace, exploring what you need to heal, feel grounded, and reconnect with who you truly are.
How I Work
As an Integrative Therapist, I draw on a blend of Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
This means I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity-without judgement or pressure-while also helping you develop practical tools to manage anxiety, understand your thoughts, and calm your nervous system.
Our work might include exploring your story, identifying unhelpful patterns, or learning new ways to respond to difficult emotions and situations. Together, we’ll gently rebuild a sense of safety and trust-both in yourself and in your relationships.
Clients often describe me as calm, grounded, and easy to talk to. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be, but to help you discover that you already have what you need within you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold Level 2, 3 & 4 Diplomas in Person-Centred Counselling & Psychology, and a Level 5 Diploma in CBT. I have over three years’ experience supporting adults with trauma, anxiety, grief, and recovery from emotionally abusive relationships.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
