About me
I offer a warm, confidential and non judgemental space where you can feel heard and truly understood.
A space where you can explore and navigate life's challenges, loss or changes such as bereavement, relationship problems stress with work and health issues.
When feeling overwhelmed regardless of the issue my aim is to give you a safe space to explore these feelings.
I work with the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change when given the right conditions.
My aim is to help you reconnect with your inner strengths, build self confidence and trust yourself again.
I began my therapist journey after I had my child who had been born very premature. While in the hospital for many months I felt let down by the professional support on offer and realised that it helped me to support other mothers going through the same traumatic experience.
I was living in London at the time, I had lost my father the year before and was also having relationship problems. Once my daughter was able to return home I felt that I was at the crossroads of my life. After my experience in the hospital I decided that I wanted to become a counsellor and my journey began at Birkbeck University I started to understand my own insecurities more and how the people around from an early age had made me feel insecure and insignificant and how this had impacted on the choices I had made through my life.
Using the theory I have learnt from Phylodynamic and Person centred schools of thought plus having therapy myself I feel that I was able to take charge of my life make the changes that were needed and breath again...
I want to support my clients to feel the same. To take control of their lives and to become confident to make the choices that will make them happier and more fulfilled moving forward.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
