About me

Hi,

Are you struggling in your day to day? Or are you noticing certain feelings arise in specific situations? I support clients with anxiety, impactful childhood experiences, trauma, low self-esteem, family challenges, life transitions, work-related issues, grief, loss and bereavement.

Whether you’re coming back to therapy or starting for the first time, you’re welcome to contact me via the form, call, text, or WhatsApp. I’ll do my best to make the process feel straightforward and comfortable.

I offer a free 15 minute introductory chat on the phone or online where we can chat through your hopes and expectations of therapy and if you would like to proceed then we will find a convenient time to have our first 50-minute session, either in-room in SW London, online or on the phone.

We will work in a gentle, supportive way that encourages growth and self-understanding. Our sessions will be confidential, where you can talk openly, without judgement and be offered support as you explore your experiences.

Working together at a pace you're comfortable with, you'll gain clarity and develop your self understanding resulting in improved self worth.

I work with adults from 18+

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc in Humanistic Counselling from Middlesex University and a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling from Metanoia Institute. I work with clients integratively, using Person-Centred, Gestalt and TA modalities. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I hold a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling. I am continually updating my practice with regular CPD training and attend Supervision regularly.

I have worked within a London based charity offering counselling for clients struggling with bereavement, loss and grief.

I have supported clients overwhelmed with their feelings rooted in family issues, work, stress, historical & present trauma.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
