About me
Do you struggle with overthinking and feel as if you can't switch your mind off? Do you experience anxiety and low mood, wondering where these feelings come from and how to stop them so you can move forward with your life? Maybe you feel lost, lonely, or stuck, facing one daunting challenge after another. It's normal to struggle at times, and it's okay to seek help. I'm here to listen and help you navigate these difficulties. My mission is to align with your values and assist you in building a better life, fostering hope and providing strategies and equipping you with the tools to empower you through life's ongoing journey.

I strive to instil hope, belief, and provide the tools necessary to empower individuals throughout their life experiences. Helping people is a passion of mine, and I love working together to support them in becoming the best version of themselves.
I offer a safe space for clients to unload and talk, but also to problem-solve. Training, qualifications & experience
I’m Lindsay, a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My journey into therapy began with my own personal struggles, which inspired me to retrain and pursue my passion for helping others. After overcoming challenges with anxiety, exhaustion, and feeling stuck in my own life, I realised that change is possible, and I wanted to share that belief with others. I am completing my master's to deepen my skills as an advanced practitioner. I'm passionate about providing a warm, supportive space to help with challenges like anxiety, OCD, depression, and more, using tailored, evidence-based approaches.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
