About me
I’m an integrative counsellor and Gestalt therapist, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) practicing in Tooting Broadway (SW17) and online. My specialism is LGBTQ+ mental health (I am affirmative), but I work with people on a wider range of issues.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step—especially if you’ve felt misunderstood, judged, or like you’ve had to explain parts of who you are in other spaces. My aim is to offer a relationship that feels safe, affirming, and genuinely supportive, while also allowing space for honest exploration and meaningful change.
If you’re considering therapy, you might be looking to understand yourself more deeply, work through difficult experiences, or feel more at ease in who you are. We can move at your pace, focusing on what feels most important to you.
I offer a free 15 minute intro meeting, giving you the chance to see whether working together feels like the right fit.
I currently work with adult (18+) individuals one-to-one.
My style is down-to-earth and approachable. I aim to offer a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you can explore whatever has brought you here—at your own pace, and in your own way.
At the heart of counselling, for me, is helping you develop a deeper awareness of yourself, so you can feel more grounded and able to make meaningful changes in your life.
Together, we might explore your past and present—and sometimes your sense of the future—in a way that helps you understand yourself more fully and live more honestly, both with yourself and in your relationships.
This process can support you in making clearer, more conscious choices about how you want to grow and move forward.
I offer both short term and open-ended counselling.
Training, qualifications & experience
My experience
Alongside my private practice, I work within charities and educational settings, supporting a diverse range of clients. My private practice is focused on offering LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, and I often work with people exploring identity, navigating relationships, and processing the impact of past experiences.
I also support clients with a wider range of issues, including anxiety, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship difficulties (including trust and infidelity), and the lasting effects of bullying or family dynamics. I have a keen interest in supporting people with intergenerational trauma, self-sabotage, and the ways these can impact day-to-day life.
My training and approach
My training is in Gestalt Therapy and Person-Centred Counselling, approaches that place your autonomy at the centre of the work. You won’t be pushed in any direction that doesn’t feel right for you.
I aim to offer a space that feels safe, affirming, and grounded in trust—where you don’t have to filter or explain who you are. We will work at your pace, while I remain actively engaged and, where helpful, gently challenging. My approach is warm, respectful, honest, and curious.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to ongoing professional development. Recent training includes trauma-informed counselling, working with complicated grief, carer burnout, and developing understanding around neurodiversity, sexuality, and gender.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
